Our nation isn't just 'heading south' anymore, we are plummeting in a free-fall, freedom denial death spiral. Many Christians have felt uneasy about the direction the United States has been heading for a long time. They know things in America have changed, certain freedoms have been stripped away or have been watered down. But when exactly would we know that our freedom of speech and religion, freedoms we take for granted under our Constitution have been completely removed? Nearly every communication goes through computers. Would we even realize that our phone calls, emails and social media posts are getting blocked, 'lost' or rerouted with 'man-in-the-middle' real-time technology? The most successful MITM interceptions are when both parties believe they are actually communicating with a real entity.
What happens if our bank accounts mysteriously run out of money? What do we do when Christian themed websites are removed from search engines or blocked altogether? What do we do when social media sites relegate our Christian posts to, “Hate speech?” Will Christian's wake up one morning and discover we are in the clutches of radical Islamic Law (sharia law)? How do we protect ourselves? What steps can we take today to prevent this evil attack and oppressive domination?
I suggest that every Christian stand courageously for Jesus Christ and Biblical values. The closet Christian needs to come boldly out of the closet and take a stand for godliness and righteousness. There are two takeaways from this: The first, don't feel you are alone in this struggle. The second, unless you are standing directly in front of the person you are trying to communicate with, you don't really know who is on the other end of the phone call, email or social media post! (Forget good old-fashioned snail mail as it was the first to be targeted and intercepted!)
